Andi, Dan, Nigel and the team are all brilliant hosts at this fantastic escape in North Scotland. From hilarious conversations, wonderful hospitality and superb food our time here could not have been better. Thank you so much for a truly memorable stay.
5* all the way. Room, staff, food, motorbike parking...all perfect. Due to having our 20th wedding anniversary in the middle of our camping trip around the NC500, we decided to have a little treat and booked the Borgie Lodge for 1 night. Its the best hotel we have been too in terms of motorbike security. Everything was just lovely and made our special day perfect. Cannot recommend highly enough
Highly recommend! Cannot emphasize enough how great this place is - lovely location, comfortable rooms, and amazing staff. The included breakfast was also quite good!
Lovely family run spot in a beautiful area. Food was fantastic, nice big portions after a day on the bike. Will definitely be back
My fiancé and I stayed at the Borgie Lodge Hotel while on the NC500 and it was absolutely the highlight stay of the trip! The staff was warm, professional, and exceptionally efficient. Our dinner and breakfast were both excellent, and spending the evening in front of a cozy fire in the communal lounge was the perfect end to a long day of driving and hiking. We’re recommending this place to everyone we know, if you’re on the NC500 it’s a must!
The hotel, staff, service and food were all of a high standard. The room called Hamish was spacious, clean, warm with plenty of hot water available. As we arrived in the pouring rain, I was pleased they offer a cloth drying facility. We would recommend a stay.
Very friendly independent family run hotel in super quiet spot. The hotel is very convenient, but slightly away from, the main road that runs east/west across the north of Scotland. The food is good, wholesome, home cooked and of that style. The portions are huge - we struggled to finish anything. There are some lovely walks nearby. One in Borgie woods and another at the beach. If we would have liked one improvement it would have been the coffee at breakfast, but then my husband is a coffee fiend and it is a medium level hotel that is very good value, so you can't have everything, especially with rising costs and the remoteness. We would definitely stay again !
Lovely place to stay, friendly staff and excellent food. Very homely and easy
